British Boxing Futures
I have the best thing that I’ve been so looking forward to telling you about. We’ve made a charity link up with the most amazing people. A few weeks ago I spoke to a wonderful charity called Boxing Futures – they literally empower disadvantaged young people by building positive relationships, developing soft core skills and increasing confidence and motivation.
You know when you have those conversations and suddenly everything clicks? It felt like that. Like if we can’t do something good with the business to improve the world in which we live, then where’s the joy in that? So, it’s brilliant that we’re able to offer our classic men’s stretch trunks as 3 and 5 packs donating £1 for each pack sold to the charity.
The other fabulous thing is that our retailers are happy to support the initiative too, so John Lewis, Joules and Debenhams are all on board with it and we’ll donate £1 to the charity for the packs that they sell on their websites too. I’m a great believer in the old adage that “it takes a village to raise a child,” and Boxing Futures really encompass that in all they do. It’s wonderful to be able to play a part in that journey with them and help young British boxers to fight for their own futures.
