I’m trying to tread that fine line of promoting Father’s Day whilst simultaneously being aware that it can be a tricky time for some. So in the spirit of keeping it light, I wanted to tell you what we did.

We left one child with their vaccinated grandparents and left the other with their vaccinated uncle whilst we went to an actual pub in Stratford Upon Avon and slept in it, drank beer and prosecco in it and ate fish and chips in it. IT WAS BRILLIANT! The best bit of all was when we got chatting to the people on the next table – just like we’d all do in the before times. They’d left their elder child home alone and were anxious he might have a massive party (he’s in his late teens – so no need for any of us to phone social services, and anyway Bill Gates will probably already know about it because of the tracking devices he’s injected into us all. This is a joke. Don’t @ me)

It was just chit chat. Nothing to report and everything to report. I don’t even know their names, but talking to them inside an actual building and with no responsibilities was so lovely. If you haven’t done so yet, please book a table at a pub and do the same. It’s such a tonic.

So, to Father’s Day. It’s June 20th and our last posting day is 14th June for standard delivery and midday 17th June for next day. There’s currently 10% OFF with the code JUNE10a free face mask on all orders over £30 and free standard delivery.

We’ve got some gorgeous new British-made Alpaca socks and some great dressing gowns and pyjamas which make the perfect gift.
