The great and good of our town all trying to remember the second verse of God Save the King and instead singing the first verse again was a lovely moment this weekend. It was the proclamation for King Charles on Sunday afternoon, and it made me think that what’s important at moments of sadness, however small or global, is that the competition of woe isn’t entered. Moments are marked with everyone trying their best. Goodwill and faith are wonderful things and, to my mind, should be used at all times.

We’re not in on bank holiday Monday. We’ve decided to close the office for the day, so we’ll answer any queries when we’re back in on Tuesday. I hope everyone’s OK. I know it’s been a difficult few days for many.

Much love to all,

Deborah Price
