New Beginnings

September always feels like a time of new beginnings to me. It’s like cardigan-without-a-coat weather or even our brushed cotton PJs and dressing gowns without the central heating. I occasionally think about making jam (not enough to actually do it I hasten to add), but the idea of it is warming. Sunshine, long shadows and wrapping up a little bit. Comforting and cosy perhaps.
