Summer Sale ending soon!

Calvin just popped in to collect an order. We’ve lived in the small town of Leek for 16 years and have known him nearly as long – ever since his partner used to look after my tiny girl at nursery. It was the first time he’d been in to see the new building and he reminded me of the journey we’d been on.

“Remember Deb, when you used to do all your business at Macclesfield and Leek’s makers’ markets from out the back of an old silver Berlingo?” I don’t think I’ll ever forget the freezing starts and the selling in the rain or the crap van. Those parts were horrific, but once we were all set up with a warm cappuccino in hand, the selling part to the people was absolutely brilliant. I think it’s a really important thing to remember that all business ever is, is buying things and selling things to people at the market – whether it’s rainy cobbles or a glass tower, it’s exactly the same. Shinier shoes maybe, but it’s just buying, selling and people. I absolutely love it.
