A little shout out to the British Boxers team. This last few weeks they’ve been utterly incredible. We had a mezzanine fitted in the warehouse in the middle of November and I thought it would cause massive disruption, but no. The team came in before the mezzanine men to pick orders, and they stayed after the men had gone at the end of the days too. In fact, there was such little disruption to the logistical side of the business that you’d never have known had I not mentioned it. Not only that, but we received this email too which was wonderful:

Hello Sophie,

Just a quick email to say thank you for all your help in facilitating the exchange and ensuring all went smoothly. Much appreciated, and in this day of lack lustre service you shine like a bright beacon. The world needs more Sophies.

And I was so grateful to that customer for letting Sophie know that her work and care mattered. I think sometimes it’s all too easy to forget that there are still some non-AI people manning customer service emails and problems that may arise, and it was lovely for Sophie to be seen like that. She’d never have told me either. It was only because I spotted the email that I thought it was worth a massive shout. Thanks team! You’re all ace and massive thanks to that customer for taking the time to write to us, you’re ace too!
