Autumn Arrivals - New In!

The kids are back at school, and while everyone’s quietly concerned about what the future holds for all of us it’s brilliant that they’re back in and learning. September always feels like a time of new beginnings to me. It’s like cardigan-without-a-coat weather or even our-brushed-cotton-PJs-and-dressing-gowns-without-the-central-heating. Sunshine, long shadows and wrapping up a little bit. Comforting and warm perhaps.

Our lovely Autumn collection has started to arrive now. We have deliveries arriving each day. So much so that we’ve started to know the couriers by first name. It’s great. It makes it feel like they’re part of the team too. I’ll write each week and introduce the lovely new things as they come in, but this week I just wanted to highlight a few different things.

For men and women we have our great UK-made sock collections. We’ve added Waddington cashmere socks for men, and they are so special. Made in England and unbelievably soft and warm – they are great gifts too. We also have our super Ely rugby socks for men who like a bright pop of colour, and our Burghley and Farne merino fair isle socks for weekends, walking and wellies too.

For women we have added our Quakers collection which we originally offered only in men’s. We begged the factory to make them in the women’s size too and they’ve only gone and done it! Brilliant!

We also have our Sian jersey nightdresses for women – in beautifully made organic cotton which feels wonderful next to your skin. And our honey hoodies which look super indoors with brushed cotton PJ trousers or outdoors with jeans. Again they’re wonderfully soft and made using organic cotton.
