We have a new bright-pink-party of a fabulous tartan, and we’ve called it Lomond. I don’t even remember why we called it that! I’m sure they must have massive parties near Loch Lomond, but last time I was there I was camping in a tent. Now, whilst I like to think I’m a down-to-earth sensible sort of person, I’m most definitely not one for camping. I’ve tried it many times and I just can’t do it. I don’t sleep. I’m freezing. I need the loo… you know the drill.

My childhood holidays were spent in a caravan and I can just about cope with that nowadays if it’s a static van with plumbed in bathrooms and kitchens, but when you can go to France and stay in something made out of bricks for the same price as the static van in the rain in Devon then you do France, don’t you? At least you’re warm and next to a vineyard and a boulangerie. Basically, I’m not overly extra but I like to dry my hair, and plugs don’t work if you just stick them into the ground near Loch Lomond.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yes. The tartan. It’s called Lomond and it’s utterly gorgeous. It’s cut for women in a wonderful riot of pink and purple with a balance of navy blue. And it’s our fab brushed cotton, so it’s dead cosy and warm. It feels amazing on and you can get 20% OFF if you use the code AUTUMN24 on our website this week.
