It's a wrap – last deliveries for Christmas!
It’s a wrap!
Have you seen the memes of the parcels when they say, “Your deliveries are in God’s hands now.”? Well, I mean it is getting late to order for Christmas I grant you, but I’d also say that Royal Mail are doing a phenomenal job. I’ve never known a courier service as good as they’ve been this year, and believe me, we’ve used them all.
Some of you lot are so posh your houses don’t even have street names – they're literally house and then village. I appreciate that couriers we’ve used in Christmases past were occasionally like, “We don’t know where this is, so we’re going to lob it over that random hedgerow in the hope that some woodland creatures might deliver it in time for Christmas.” But Royal Mail… the actual postmen – they’ve been amazing! They know where you live (in a nice way), they haven’t chucked it in the hedge and they’ve brought it to your door.
The reason I’m telling you all of this is because we’re sending everything you order – from now until the 23rd – by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so they should get through to you by Christmas.
We have Royal Mail coming to collect from us on the 20th at 2pm (get your orders in by 1pm to give us chance to pick and pack them), and there’s a collection on the 23rd too – although they’re not guaranteeing those for Christmas.
Christmas Eve we’ll probably all be in the pub rocking back and forth in the corner, so that’s your lot then. Thanks for an amazing year and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
