Because we sell our brand on their website, Joules want to put us on their “Sellers Stories” next week across social media. It's a really fab opportunity for us to do a few bits to camera and show our brand to their lovely customers.

Darren and I got a new frock and t-shirt on to do the filming (respectively, not each) and I wrote a script. I included the part about how we set up the business with meagre savings, a battered van and a holiday in North Wales in a tent in the rain. On the way to the campsite we went to Aldi and did a big shop. It was all rather dismal and when we finally got to the field, with the help of some choice swear words and some shouting, we managed to pitch the tent while the children ran feral. When we finally sat down, we realised that Aldi had left the security tag on the 4 quid bottle of sherry we’d bought as a treat. There was only one thing for it. We prised it off with a tent peg and the camping mallet and filled our plastic beakers with quite a large measure. Then I think we poured another, but I can’t remember… which probably means we did. The point being, that I was trying to regale this tale to the Joules customers, and the point of it is that when life smacks you in the chops you have two choices, don’t you? You can either laugh or you can cry. We decided to laugh, and that I think is the best place to be.

This week I wanted to show our tartan pyjamas to you. We’re selling this in a big way at the moment, so if you wanted it for Christmas now is the time to get in. We will sell out of some of the colours, and I don’t want you to be disappointed. There’s 10% off with the code AUTUMN10 and there’s free UK delivery on all orders over £30 too at the moment. Hope you love it as much as we do! Cheers!
