Slip-on Comfort
As you know we make nearly all our products in the UK and Europe. Very occasionally we will manufacture further afield but only if we’re really happy that a factory is doing something very good in the world – and I cannot shout about these slippers loudly enough, as they’re a great example of exactly that.
They’re beautifully hand-made from wool and suede by a women’s cooperative in Nepal, and we’re really pleased that we can support them. The women make these lovely slippers from sheep wool, water and soap, then use Azo-free dyes to colour the felt and finally attach the beautifully soft suede upper. They come wrapped in their own cotton shoe bag too – a lovely attention-to-detail finish that really caught our eye.
