To The Manor Born

I’ve had the most amazing few days away shooting Autumn Winter at a beautiful Manor House in Clitheroe. You know when the whole team just gels together beautifully. When the models aren’t self-important and they chip in to make the brews, when the make-up artist stops off at the supermarket to get cheap squishy slippers for me because the property owner wanted us to take our shoes off and I’d forgotten to bring my own and after 9 hours my feet were hurting on the wooden floors, when the catering people dropped off the lunch and clearly labelled the food for the vegan, the two gluten frees and the one high fat/protein person.

There were 13 crew members on the shoot and we all went out for pizza in the evening. At one point, I turned to the make-up-artist, Erika, and I beamed, “Just listen to everyone!” The chatter and laughter at the table were deafening. It was an echoey converted bank with high ceilings, but still, just a beautiful moment and I’m so pleased I noticed it.

Massive thanks to the whole team, and I cannot wait to show you all the newness as it comes through from September.
