New Level of Success - Mezzanine Mayhem

We’re having a mezzanine built in the warehouse. Last week I was swanning about in Paris drinking all the red wine and eating all the cheese, and then we came home on Friday (the Louvre break-in was on the Sunday after – I know I’ve mentioned before that I’m a total magpie for a sparkler, but just in case you were wondering, it definitely wasn’t me. I don’t do ladders or high-vis vests and also I’m not a robber). Anyway, we arrived back on the Friday and by Sunday we were in the warehouse picking all the weekend’s orders and moving loads of pallets of stock around so that the mezzanine men could come in on Monday and build.

I just want to drop a massive shout out to the BB team who had my back the entire week we were away. They sorted the whole warehouse and made a plan of action so that there would be minimal disruption to customer orders. Also, a nod to my other half who at 8pm on Sunday, whilst shifting pallet number 65 shouted, “All I’ve had is a bacon sandwich all day. I’m done.” I felt it probably wasn’t the best moment to remind him about the red wine and cheese from the week before, so I kept my mouth shut and discreetly texted the youngest child to stick the oven on and put something in it.

Anyway, anyway… The reason I mention all of this is that there is a slight delay on some orders getting out this week. Apologies for any hold ups. We’re saying it may be 6-8 days on the sleepwear, as opposed to the usual 2-3 days. Julie’s being a ninja though and got people still picking underwear from the non-mezzanine-y far end of the warehouse when the mezzanine men have gone home for the day. So we’re on it!
