Spring Promotion Launch

We’ve just had the best weekend ever doing the things that 18 months ago we’d have taken for granted. We sat in the garden with Anna and Chris from next door until about midnight on Saturday drinking wine and eating crisps. We started the evening in sunglasses and linen and ended it wearing massive coats with blankets over our knees like older people at the seaside. Just laughing with friends – it’s been so long since we’ve done that. On Sunday we visited Treacle Market in Macclesfield. We used to sell the collection there, so it was great just to wander outside in the crisp sunshine. Jackets on but no coats. Again chatting to old friends and stall holders, albeit from a distance and through masks, but after this last year I’ll take that. Later, we sat with massive slabs of chocolate cake in my parent’s garden (the diet can pipe down for a bit) – the gentle unlocking of social activity is more important for now.
